Inspiration?

We’re both creative types and wanted to do something unique and exciting. At the beginning of 2024 we were searching for ideas. And whilst at a wedding show we chanced upon a supplier promoting their classic VW campervan for wedding transport and wedding photography. And then we had a 💡 moment. Could we create a service that could be fun, entertaining, practical as well as memorable all rolled into one. So after a lot talking, we came up with the name Memories In Bay and the rest as they say is history in the making. But what makes us unique? We will tailor our service to your event. If you have a specific request, we will do our very best to make it happen. Our selfie photo booth can be used in and out of our van. So if it’s only the photo booth you want to hire for your event, we can arrange that too. And we will soon be offering a portable DJ package. Watch this space for more details…

Our Journey so far:

We’ve both always and still love classic cars. And for the longest time, the VW Campervan has been the vehicle of choice to aspire to. Restoration wasn’t initially on our minds, however in 2017 a project van was brought to our attention. She had no interior furnishings, no engine, and no passengers seats. But she was rust free, left hand drive, was within budget and had a certain charm about her that was instantly enchanting. We negotiated a deal and we named her ‘Milly’ after my late mum. And so this late bay window camper van joined our family.

The conversion from where she was to where she is now has been long and often challenging. But we feel she is ready for the next stage on that journey of a 1000 miles.

Our classic campervan has been adapted so it can be used for wedding transport, it can seat 6 passengers in the rear, and as a portable selfie photo booth for weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, festivals, and other occasions.
